The IMMC offers personalized guided tours for adults and children with two weeks’ advance reservation. Please inquire about multilingual and special needs accommodations. Guided tours are available outside of regular Museum hours.
The IMMC offers a variety of programs, workshops and resources for pupils of all subjects and grade levels from our local schools and from within our community.
In an effort to support arts and culture integration in all classrooms, the Museum offers a wide variety of teacher resources and professional development experiences for educators of all subject areas.
The IMMC is dedicated to creative learning for teachers and students. Our exhibitions are meant to ignite curiosity, foster critical-thinking skills, and present challenging and engaging learning environments.
Community Workshops & Talks
Alongside our exhibitions, the IMMC makes an effort to offer specialized workshops by professionals and experts in the subject areas related to our exhibitions.

Arranging Your School Visit
Registration begins in September of each year with a minimum of two weeks notice. Appointments may be made by phone at 601-960-0440 Tuesday–Thursday, 11 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 2:00–4:30 p.m. or send your visit request online.
Please have the following information available when you call:
* complete address and phone number of your school
* school calendar (including testing dates, etc.)
* lesson topic
* several potential dates
* lunch plans for your group
Please note: The maximum number of students permitted from one school on any day is 40.
